Andrew Nadolski
I saw Andrew Nadolski's work exhibited at the Joe Cornish gallery in Northallerton and immediately bought his book, 'The End of the Land'. His photographs of a single beach in Cornwall are fascinating studies. I found them particularly interesting as he often photographs in the kind of dull, overcast light that landscape photographers tend to avoid and yet he is able to produce truly beautiful images.
David Ward
Another inspirational large format photographer. David Ward has an amazing ability to produce beautiful images that focus on small details in the landscape - something that I also strive towards.
Sue Bishop
I was given Sue Bishop's book 'Photographing Flowers' a few years ago and it became the main inspiration for my interest in flower photography as a true art form.
